Accommodation onboard Semel

Stay in carefully chosen hotels before or after your gulet cruise.

Whether you want to stay in a hotel overlooking the marina in Fethiye, a
restored farmhouse in Kayakoy or a five star hotel complete with rooftop
pool overlooking Marmaris bay we are happy to advise and book for you.
stay in Bodrum port. Wander around the castle, ancient amphitheatre or
Myndos Gate through which Alexander the Great entered.

After breakfast, you’ll be given information about the cruise and onboard
safety then we will cruise to Palamutbuku with it’s beautiful wide bay
where there’s plenty of time to swim in the clear blue waters and have
lunch before moving on to Inceburnu, a small, picturesque bay. Dinner
and overnight in the bay.

After breakfast we will cruise to Aktur before moving onto Bencik which
is located at the narrowest part of the peninsula. In 550BC the people of
Knidos wanted to protect themselves from the ever advancing Persians
so dug a tunnel to create a separate island. In the end they were
overcome by the Persians but left this beautiful coastline behind.

After a leisurely breakfast we will anchor in Emel Sayin bay. For lunch
we will stop at Orhaniye where there’s plenty of opportunity for
watersports. Late afternoon we will move onto the pretty fishing village of
Selimiye where can stroll around the pretty shops and restaurants.

Snorkel around the sunken harbour used by Romans to drop off olives
and olive oil in this picturesque bay. The afternoon will be in a bay
overlooking the small village of Bozburun which is still famous for
handcrafting wooden gulets.

This coastline has been the home to multiple civilizations including the
Karians, Romans and Byzantines. More than 2000 years ago the
Karians built the city of Knidos which still has impressive ruins on today.
Explore this ancient city on foot for the afternoon.

An early start to Black Island where we’ll have breakfast at Poyraz Bay in
the north of the island, it’s clear turquoise water is perfect for
snorkelling. In the afternoon you can walk amongst the underwater
caves at Meteor Bay before we return to Bodrum for the evening.

Breakfast in port and time to say your goodbyes to the Captain and crew
until next time.

Subject to the sea, weather and operational conditions the Captain may
change the itinerary if necessary. Occasionally it is necessary to
substitute a named gulet for an alternative of the same or better quality.
