Traditionally built wooden boats, our gulets have double and sometimes
twin cabins for our walking trips of up to 14 people plus the Guide. They
have sails although operate under motor for most of the trip to ensure
we can keep to our schedule.

Each cabin has a private en-suite bathroom with home style toilet,
shower  cubicle and hairdryer. Cabins have a small wardrobe, underbed
storage, window and bedside light. Electricity is available in cabins for
charging mobile phones and cameras every evening. Cabins are
smaller than a hotel room but larger than you’d find on a typical sailing
yacht. One bath towel and one hand towel are provided, please bring
your own beach towel.

The bar, galley and salon are located in the wheelhouse where there
are stunning 360° views. With plenty of sunbeds on the fore and aft
decks choose how to relax; sunbathing, reading, chatting or perhaps
you’ll even sleep here under the stars. There’s plenty of time to swim
and snorkel too.

Meals are taken on the aft deck where you’ll enjoy a different view with
every meal.

Many  departures are on our gulet East Meets West. All other departures
are on a carefully selected luxury gulet.

Stay in carefully chosen hotels before or after your gulet cruise.

Whether you want to stay in a hotel overlooking the marina in Fethiye, a
restored farmhouse in Kayakoy or a five star hotel complete with rooftop
pool overlooking Marmaris bay we are happy to advise and book for you.

We can also arrange for you to visit Ephesus, Cappadoccia and Istanbul.
Walk and Gulet Cruise in Turkey
Cruising between Marmaris and Fethiye you will have opportunity to walk on 4 or 5 days taking in wonderful forest, mountain and sea views.
We will visit nomad families staying in remote locations where there still isn't any road access.

Trip Grading: Low Intermediate. Most of our walks are along goat trails which are rocky and stony and mainly at intermediate level. However, the
walks are too short to be classed as Intermediate.
How long are the walks? The longest walk is around 13km so the walks are too short to be classed as Intermediate. The walks vary in duration
from just 2 hours to 4.5 hours for the longest walks.
How difficult are the walks? The terrain is very stony with plenty of loose rock and is more suited to an Intermediate grade. Walking boots
(preferably with ankle support) are essential.

the afternoon we follow a low coastal path before rejoining the boat in the next bay.(2 hours)
Day 5 See the ancient burial tombs at Bedri Rahmi bay as we continue to follow the coast with wonderful views of the islands. (2-3 hours)

Cruising and walking the Lycian coast between Marmaris and Fethiye
see the best of this wonderful coast by sea and on foot. Walk along
tracks still used by shepherds today, most of which are so remote they
can only be accessed from the sea.  We anchor in bays where Romans
anchored and follow their paths to ruined villages complete with
mausoleums and ancient water systems.
