A spectacular one-way cruise starting in the Turkish Mediterranean and  finishing in the Turkish Aegean onboard this deluxe 46m gulet Admiral, seldom available for cabin charter.

We will leave Fethiye, cruise the Gocek Islands, Fethiye Gulf and Gokova Gulf  before arriving in Bodrum. The local airports are Dalaman for Fethiye and Bodrum airport for Bodrum.

What you need to know

 Type of boat: Cabin with ensuite bathroom on a Luxury Gulet for 7 nights/8 days.
Air-conditioning in cabin for up to 8 hours  (except when in port)
 Full Board: Turkish Breakfast, Cooked Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Biscuits, Cooked Dinner starting with dinner on day 1; finishing with breakfast on day 8.
 Embarkation: Fethiye Harbour, from 16:00, ideally before 18:30
 Disembarkation: Bodrum Harbour, after breakfast, before 09:30  Luggage can be stored for you.
 Optional Excursions:  Turkish Hamam, Riverboat cruise to Kaunos, Walk around Knidos

What’s Included

Breakfast x 7, Lunches x 6  and dinners x 5 starting with dinner on day 1 and ending with breakfast on day 8.

  • Breakfast: Turkish breakfast cheese, eggs, olives, jams, local honey, bread, tea, coffee
  • Lunch: A cooked lunch followed by fruit.
  • Afternoon tea & biscuits
  • Dinner: includes Mezes, main course, salad and dessert of fruit. Dinner on the last evening is not included.
  • Drinking water is provided at meals. Juice available as extra
  • Coffee and tea included at breakfast and afternoon tea

Vegetarians are easily catered for. Please advise of any dietary requirements at time of booking.

Cabin: 7 nights in a twin or double cabin with ensuite private bathroom with bathroom towels. Beach towels are not provided.

Air-conditioning: Air-conditioning can be in use up to 8 hours daily during hotter months. Please note the use of A/C in port is strictly forbidden. 

Diesel: 3-4 hours cruising per day

What’s Not Included

Flights: Please book your own flights. Dalaman airport for your arrival to Fethiye. Bodrum airport for the end of the gulet cruise. If all passengers have arrived by 18:30 the boat will leave port so you can have your first evening away from the busy port. Please try to book flights arriving into Fethiye by 16:30

Port Fees: £45 or 50 euros per person payable onboard in euros, pounds or dollars

Turkish Bath: book onboard.

Excursions: you need to pay for any excursions when you are onboard. Entrance fees are not included (for example to ancient sites)

Drinks: there is a reasonably priced bar onboard stocked with water, soft and alcoholic drinks including beer, wine and spirits. Please do not bring your own drinks onboard.

Tips for the Crew. 

Travel Insurance: please remember to arrange your own travel insurance and provide a copy to the Captain on arrival.

Wi-fi –  available in Turkish waters only. There is a surcharge.

DAY 1 FETHIYE

Welcome to gulet Admiral  by checking-in to your comfortable cabins from 16:00  in Fethiye port. You will have free time to visit the old shopping area of Paspatur before a wonderful dinner on the aft deck.

Day 2: SUNKEN BATH – EKINCIK

At the first light of dawn, we set sail for the sunken ruins of an ancient bath, said to have been gifted by Marc Anthony to Cleopatra on the event of their wedding. Swim or snorkel around these sunken ruins before cruising on to turquoise coves held by pine clad mountains around Ekincik.

Day 3: EKINCIK – DALYAN – MARMARIS

The morning starts with breakfast and time for a swim before taking an optional river cruise. Discover the ancient city of Kaunos, and enjoy the golden sands of Iztuzu beach, nesting grounds of the loggerhead turtles (Caretta Caretta).

In the afternoon, we head towards Marmaris where you will have your evening meal and overnight stay in this lively coastal town.

Day 4: MARMARIS – BOZUKKALE

After breakfast we will cruise to Bozukkale. In this magnificent bay surrounded by traces of ancient history you will enjoy a delicious lunch and swim or snorkel the clear waters. We anchor in Bozukkale overnight so you can enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Day 5: BOZUKKALE – DATCA

After breakfast, we cruise past the Greek island of Symi on our way to Datca. This small town with its historic houses and cobblestone streets is full of charm and you are bound to feel the spirit of the Aegean. Dinner will be served on the boat.

Day 6: DATCA – KNIDOS

In the morning, we will arrive at the ancient site of Knidos and take a tour amongst the ruins of ancient Greek civilisation and witness the legend of the statue of Aphrodite. At this point where the Aegean and the Mediterranean meet, history and nature are intertwined. We anchor in Knidos for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: KNIDOS – POYRAZ BAY– BODRUM

We will head to one of Bodrum’s most beautiful bays, Poyraz Harbour. After a swimming break and a pleasant lunch we will head into Bodrum harbour. Bodrum’s historic castle,  vibrant nightlife and shopping streets will colour your evening. Dinner will not be served on the boat this evening giving you the chance to explore the vibrancy of Bodrum.

Day 8: BODRUM

After breakfast you sill say your goodbyes to Gulet Admiral, the captain, crew and your new friends. Disembarkation by 10:00 after breakfast.

Depending on sea and weather conditions, Meridian Travels & Yachting reserves the right to make necessary changes to the tour itinerary to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. The Captain’s decision is final.

Cabins on gulet Admiral are beautifully fitted in mahogany and teak with a mll wardrobe and underbed storage. Every cabin has a private en-suite bathroom with toilet,  shower and hot water in the evenings. Bathroom towels are provided, please bring your own beach towel.

There are two aft double cabins; located at the back of the boat they have larger windows and a little more space. You can also choose a double bed cabin, a twin bed cabin with two single beds or a triple cabin which has a double bed and a single bed. We will book the cabin type you select and whilst it’s usual you will be allocated the cabin type you’ve booked I’m afrid we cannot guarnatee it, but we will do our best for you.

With plenty of sunbeds on the fore and aft decks choose how to relax; sunbathing, reading, chatting or perhaps you’ll even sleep here under the stars. Meals are usually taken on the aft deck or air-conditioned salon where you have a different view for almost every meal.

There’s a well-stocked bar with reasonably priced soft and alcoholic drinks. Please do not bring your own drinks onboard.

The air-conditioning is centrally controlled, can be in use up to 8 hours daily with the hours determined by the captain, The use of A/C in harbours is strictly prohibited by the port authorities.
